The End

Today is our last day in Europe. I won’t lie and say that I’m not sad. I wish we could do the tour in reverse now and revisit all the places we have been. I’d like to not be bed ridden sick in Mainz and actually get to explore the town, I’d like to see more parts of Berlin and I’d love to go back to Denmark and walk through all those fairy tale looking houses and eat fresh eggs. I’d also like to stay and visit other places like Ireland, Italy, and France while I’m over here, but time gets away from you.

Last night was our last show in Europe. We played unplugged, and it was amazing. A small intimate room with about thirty, maybe more people, sitting and listening. another connection was made with a band from Brighton called The Galleons, exchanged information till next time.

Now it’s morning. Last time cooking in the kitchen that over looks Hackney Road. Our home for the last week.

Today we’re not sure what we’ll do…roam around, explore more, finally eat those fish and chips.

We’ve seen a lot, from Abby Road to the Palace, little thrift stores with amazing finds to little side street bars. It definitely feels like we are living here, due to grocery shopping for our flat. It feels just like it does in Pittsburgh, living together, except London is outside our window.

It will be good to get back to the states though. I for one am kind of home sick for NYC and my family. London reminds me a lot of NYC in some ways, and part of me really wants to go home. I’ll have to wait a little longer though as we don’t go to NYC until the end of June. But it’ll be good to get back to Pittsburgh where our friends are, where are belongings are, and we can just rest up for the next tour we have planned.

So, goodbye Denmark, Germany and England. You have been very good to us. You have been beautiful. You’ve given us crazy insane times and you’ve given us calm moments. You’ve given us food that was a treat to taste; grilled Greek cheese,  cheesy dumplings, thin pancakes, thin chocolate on bread, MACARONS, and English pizza. I hope we will get to see you again.

Now how do I end this..haha

I guess I’ll just go, cook breakfast, and get dressed so we can explore this city one last time.

Thank you, Europe. Keep being wonderful until next time.

Love,

Morgan Erina
